2012-2015, Consultant to Lauzon Life Safety Consulting. Conduct life safety inspections; generate training videos; present training programs; generate inspection forms; serve on WHEA Education and Professional Development Committee; serve on WHEA Code Committee.

2012-2015, Director of Environment of Care, Lakeview Specialty Hospital, Waterford, WI. She was responsible for providing a safe and compliant environment for hospital rehab patients, CBRF residents, and behavioral residential children. Heather directed all facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and construction.  She maintained documentation of compliance for multiple authorities having jurisdiction including, the Joint Commission, CMS, and CARF.

2004-2012, Supervisor, Maple Leaf Production. She performed quality inspections throughout the state; Developed training programs; Lead research projects; Managed multiple stages of production and staffing; Received Incident Command Training.

 

Bill Lauzon- 1st Generation

Bill Lauzon - Founder

2016-Present, Gradually retiring from the traveling side of consulting work.  Perform Plan Reviews; Present training programs; Respond to code inquiries. 

2011-present, Founder of Lauzon Life Safety Consulting, a common-sense resource for the health care industry for common-sense code compliance.

2006-2011, Wis Department of Health Services as health care surveyor and plan reviewer of hospitals, nursing homes, CBRFs, dialysis units, and surgical centers. Promoted to Lead Engineer with responsibilities for training all state life safety surveyors, the statewide approver of waivers and variances, and final jurisdiction on DQA code interpretations, and the   Wisconsin liaison with CMS-Chicago Region.

1990-2006, Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center, Racine, WI as Facility Director and Construction Engineer. Bill managed the maintenance, construction, and safety programs. During this time, he oversaw over $150 million in new construction and received 3 large CMS surveys.

1985-1990, St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha, WI as Facility Director and Construction Engineer. He managed the maintenance, construction, safety, security, housekeeping, biomedical equipment, and laundry programs.

1980-1985, Hamlin Industries in Lake Mills, WI as Facility & Maintenance Engineer.
